“My beloved Smyrna” is a new film that contains film shooting on the island of Lesvos. On Sunday, June 27, our branch was present during the shooting of the film in the area “Ladadika” of Mytilene with the aim of securing the space and the team of actors, assistants and the crew participating.
Within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation of the volunteer groups of the island, other volunteers were invited by HRT Lesvos, resulting in 9 HRT volunteers and 2 members of the volunteer fire brigade of Gera actively participating in this effort, which ended with absolute success. We thank the film production for the trust it showed us and all those involved.
