On Tuesday 18/08/20, following communication with the North Aegean Region, Civil Protection regarding the fire in the location Karatepe Outza above the village of Moria, members of the Hellenic Rescue Team, Lesvos went to the spot to help put out the fire.
The HRT members under the instructions of the Firefighting Service Mytilene acted as an auxiliary to the work of the Firefighters and the volunteer firefighters operating in the area, in small restarted spot fires and surveillance of the area for any spot fires restarting
