Pleasure boat with engine problem

On Friday, September 13, at 5:00 p.m., the Lesvos branch of the Hellenic Rescue Team received a call from the central port authority of Mytilene for assistance with a high-speed vessel flying the Turkish flag that was experiencing a mechanical problem.

Immediately, the rescue boat Skerries, with a crew of three, sailed from the Mytilene marina and arrived at the scene. Under the instructions of the field coordinator, and after it was determined that the occupants were in good health, an order was given to tow the boat to the port of Mytilene.
