On Monday, Jule 7, at 7:52 p.m., the Lesvos branch of the Hellenic Rescue Team received a call from the central port authority of Mytilene for assistance with a pleasure boat, flagged Turkie, with foreigners on board with engine problem in the sea area southeast of Lesvos and needed assistance.
The Bradford lifeboat with a crew of three immediately sailed from the Mytilene marina and arrived at the scene. The tow boat was tasked to with the tow. We escorted them to the port in case of an emergency.
