The Hellenic Rescue Team Branch Lesvos has completed the process of joining the Register of Voluntary Civil Protection Organizations (M.E.O.P.), in accordance with the provisions of Law 4662/2020 and the relevant decision of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.
This membership confirms compliance with the prescribed conditions and enables us to participate organizedly and institutionally in the country’s Civil Protection system. It is a recognition of our efforts and strengthens our role in the country’s Civil Protection system
We continue our action with responsibility and cooperation, within the framework defined by the competent authorities:

With 17 certified members and registration number 0143-00-25 in areas such as:
🚨 Forest Protection for the prevention of forest fires (Forest Prevention Action-FPA)
🚒 Forest Firefighting for the suppression of forest fires (Forest Firefighting Action – FFA).
