For the 7th consecutive year, the Lesvos branch of the Hellenic Rescue Team, with 10 certified rescuers and equipment, provides first aid to pilgrims who arrive on foot from various parts of Lesvos to Mandamados, on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of the acquisition of the Monastery of Taxiarches, on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May.
The members of the branch with 2 first-aid stations, one at the entrance of the church and one mobile along the route, offer anyone who needs their help.
