As every year, this year too, the Hellenic Rescue Team of Lesvos covered the local mountain cycling championship of 2020 that started on August 1 from the picturesque village of Stypsi.
5 certified volunteers Rescuers participated in the STIPSI MTB mountain bike race, which took place in the area of Stypsi, on the slopes of the large volcano of Lepetymnos. The race was started at 18:30 in the square of Stipsi.
We warmly thank the organizers of the race for the impeccable hospitality and cooperation:
- the Cultural Association of Stypsi
- the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest with the support of the Municipality of West Lesvos,
- the Cycling Association of Lesvos, and many other volunteers.
