On Monday 28/07/20 at 8:45 the person in charge of the Plomari area of HRT Lesvos received a call from the Port Station for assistance in rescue of people from a boat (PEP) that ran aground in a remote spot in the wider area . A total of 7 people were collected with his boat, and accompanied by the Coast Guard, and moved safely to the area of Melinta, where they were picked up by a vehicle of the Coast Guard. Among the rescued was a pregnant woman.
