My name is Alexandros Vasileiou, I’m a 20 year old sociology student at the University of the Aegean and a volunteer at the Hellenic Rescue Team.
Before coming to the island of lesvos i always wanted to be occupied with volunteering however i had not done it before September 2018 when i came to the island to study.
I never liked being a spectator and not taking an active role, so would not want to be witness to an accident and not be able to help with the best possible way. As strange as it sounds, some simple and basic moves can save a human life. Why not be the one who will save this life?
