The Lesvos branch of the Greek Rescue Team based in the island of Sappho, from its inception to the present day by far most members are female. Their role is decisive in the team’s course. Women with passion and vision for what they are doing have often stood up to adverse and difficult conditions.
With determination, teamwork and cooperation they were trained in all areas of Rescue, they became volunteers with professional conscience!These women have added yet another difficult role to their lives, but that makes them special !!! All the very best to all these unique women! All the very best to all volunteer female rescuers!
