JUNE 11 2019, LESVOS: In a large search of three missing refugees on an inflatable boat in the Pamphila sea area, HRT Lesvos is assisted, at the request of the Coast Guard.
In the area, the Port and Frontex floats, as well as the Super Puma helicopter.
HRT Lesvos participates in the company with a rescue boat, three-man crew and a diver.
UPDATE: The SAR was completed with the rescue of 57 people. Additionally, 7 dead bodies were collected, including 2 children by the Hellenic Rescue Team, in cooperation with Mitilini port authority.
